Fellow Kenyans, is
yet another electioneering period where we have to exercise our democratic
right of voting for the best we have to hold public office(s).
There are few earthly things more beautiful than an
election. Let us therefore maintain peace and cohesion no matter the heat on
the ground. Let us respect one another’s opinion and choice.
What kind of peace do I mean? I am talking about genuine
peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that
enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for
their children--not merely peace for Kenya but peace for all men and women--not
merely peace in our time but peace for all time.
And, for our part, we do not need to use threats to prove
that we are resolute. We do not need to any medium to prove how strong we can
be. We are unwilling to impose our system on any unwilling people--but we are
willing and able to engage in peaceful competition with any of our candidates.
PEACE. PEACE. PEACE. ONE KENYA.
PEACE. PEACE. PEACE. ONE KENYA.
